Perry Institute's SCTLD Response Team Attends Inaugural BWEEMS Conference

Three members of the Perry Institute's Stony Coral Tissue Loss Disease (SCTLD) Response Team joined us for the first-ever BWEEMS (Black Women in Ecology, Evolution, and Marine Science) Conference in Miami, Florida. Read more about Teni's recap of our conference:

• Networking events fostered lasting connections among attendees

Attendees described the experience as "heartwarming, insightful, reaffirming, and inspiring," emphasizing the importance of creating safe spaces for underrepresented groups in science.
