Born and raised on an island shaped like a fish (Long Island, New York), horseshoe crabs and spiral whelk egg cases sparked my curiosity of the ocean and its inhabitants. My insatiable wonder for marine biology led me to completing a bachelor's and master of professional science degree at the University of Miami. While having been over the moon in a research lab and completing scientific diving surveys at Miami, after university I chose to commit to a different style of diving. I am a professional goalkeeper for Manchester United. Staying connected to my marine roots, I use my social media platform to pass on quirky ocean phun phacts and I volunteer monthly at an after school program for a local middle school revolving around the marine environment. Once I retire from soccer, I plan on wasting no time dipping right back into a continued education of our ocean.
