Salut! I am a Beninese (West Africa) woman pursuing a Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. My interests are plant population ecology, theoretical ecology, mathematical modeling, and conservation biology. I have a B.S. in Forestry and Natural Resources Conservation and a M.S. in Biostatistics (Yes, I love programming.). I also belong to the ESA Black Ecologists, Theoretical Ecology, and Plant Population Ecology sections, the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD) Benin chapter, the Women of Color in EEB (WOCinEEB), the DisabledInSTEM community, and Cohort Sistas. Also, I am a Schlumberger Faculty for the Future Fellow. When not doing science, I like contributing to my communities (the founder of R-ladies Cotonou, former R-Ladies Global team member, and contributor to the training Science des Données au Féminin en Afrique, and more). I nurture myself with books, laughter, good people, and nice food. I fancy languages. I speak Waama (North Benin language), French, and English by order of fluency. I am currently learning Italian.
