Maceió, Alagoas, Brasil
I am a fisheries engineer graduated from the Federal University of Alagoas, with a focus on environmental education, sustainable tourism, and traditional knowledge. As the daughter of fishers and raised in a fishing community, I developed a deep connection with the sea and coastal culture, which continues to guide my professional journey.
My experience includes working in fisheries extension, socio-environmental management, and monitoring of artisanal fisheries, as well as facilitating training courses for tourism guides in protected areas. Currently, I develop projects focused on environmental awareness and the empowerment of coastal communities, promoting sustainable practices through education and handicrafts.
I am also an artisan and use crochet as a tool for environmental education, creating pieces inspired by marine ecosystems and the biodiversity of Maceió. My goal is to integrate science, culture, and sustainability to strengthen.
