Hi! My name is Khrista Nicholas, and I am from South Florida with Trinidadian roots. I am an undergraduate Marine Science and Biology student at the University of Miami expecting to graduate in Spring 2025. I love the ocean and all things in it, and am interested in pursuing graduate school to understand the ocean's dynamic oceanography and biological processes, especially related to shifts with human activity and climate change. I am also passionate about including the voices of local and underrepresented communities in research.

In my free time, I enjoy soaking up the sun outside, looking under the microscope, painting, and trying new hobbies. I'm excited to connect with you!
