I have a degree in Biological Sciences - Ecology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - Brazil (2013), a master's degree (2015) and a PhD (2019) from the Graduate Program in Ecology at the same institution. During my PhD (Feb-2018/Dec-2018), I carried out part of my research at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey (United States). I have experience in Ecology, with an emphasis on Aquatic Ecology and Ecosystem Ecology. I work as a researcher associated with the Limnology Laboratory/ UFRJ (2010-) and the Rivers and Streams Laboratory/ UERJ (2023-). Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Graduate Program in Ecology and Evolution/ UERJ and "Jovem Pesquisador Fluminense", funded by FAPERJ (Brazil) and the Serrapilheira Institute (Brazil).
