Toni Sleugh is a 3rd year PhD candidate in Marine Biology at Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Her research focuses on the legacy of offshore chemical waste disposal in Southern California impacts both fish and people in the present-day. Toni received her B.S. from Iowa State University, where she majored in biology and environmental studies with a minor in political science. In her free time, Toni enjoys sewing, diving, and hanging out with her two cats, Miles (Davis) and Miles (Morales)!
