About Me

My name is Maddi Stewart and I am a sophomore at the University of California, Santa Cruz, studying Marine Biology and Earth Sciences. I am especially interested in marine mammal behavior, communication, and conservation with other interests in kelp forest ecology, the intertidal, and mangrove ecosystems. I am a NAUI Basic Open Water SCUBA diver as well as an AAUS Scientific Diver and I hope to have a career in marine mammal biology and research.
